For Graduate Certificate and Master's degrees, applicants must submit a 250-word statement that briefly describes their background and that explains their goals for entering this degree program.
For Masters degrees, applicants must provide the names and contact information for two individuals who will be writing letters of recommendation.
Application Deadline
There is a rolling deadline for applications. To ensure that your graduate program will receive all required materials in time for review, submit your application at least two weeks before the beginning of the semester.
The following documents are needed:
- Curriculum vitae or resume.
- Personal statement discussing why you want your graduate degree including your career goals.
- Three professional references that includes name and contact information (e-mail address) as well as how many years you have known the individual and in what circumstances.

The online application will prompt you for a brief personal statement and will ask you to upload a copy of current teaching license or statement of eligibility, if applicable for your program.

The following additional documents are required to the MS in Nursing application:
- Valid, unencumbered RN license (to be submitted with application).
- Personal statement describing professional career goals as an advanced practice nurse prepared in the area of leadership/administration or education.
- Two professional references, one of which must be from someone familiar with student’s academic work.
- CV or Resume.
- Two years of experience as an RN (preferred) or currently working as an RN.
- Completion of a federal criminal background check completed within the previous 12 months.

To complete the application for Program Leadership and Evaluation Graduate Certificate the following are needed:
- A personal statement of educational goals.
- Three letters of recommendation: Please note that the application form provides space for you to list those who will be writing letters of recommendation-a form will automatically be sent to those individuals.
- Documentation of undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better. Please have your transcripts sent to:
