During your orientation day, you will meet faculty and staff, connect with current students, and explore all the opportunities that make IU Southeast a great place to learn and grow.
Orientation Dates
To RSVP for orientation, you need an IU Computing account.
This is different than the login you used to complete your application.
Please note that it can take up to 24 hours after creating your account before you can access it.
Students can also enroll in their Grenadier Guide on Canvas which contains information on Financial Aid, class registration, New Student Orientation, resources, and more.

Orientation is free for students and guests to attend.
You are not required to bring anything to orientation.
You will be walking around campus both inside and outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Students do not register for classes at orientation. All new students must meet with their academic advisor to register for classes.
To help you prepare for registration and for information on how to schedule your academic advising appointment, please go to the Academic Advising module in your Grenadier Guide.
It is not required for parents to attend orientation, but they are welcome to.
Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or significant other, and they can attend your sessions with you if they want.
We do ask that students do not bring more than two guests with them.
No, you do not need to attend orientation if you are a transfer student, but you are welcome to if you would like.
While orientation is most commonly attended by first-year students, there is a lot of useful information for transfer students as well.
